im also not a fan of SR2 lol. i would like to see more modding done for the first game all we have to chose is GA for those of us with steam, while GA is good i would like to see some new idea's for the first game...

im trying my hand at modding but it is giving me mixed results...

right now im trying to figure out how to make the Galactic Capitol building immortal once i do that i can work on more stuff i want to make it so the players home planet and npc too.

im building off of the standard game right now.

im currently working on a mod but not much has been done as of yet once i have more of it done i will be putting on moddb,
my idea is to rework Fighters and Bombers right now and i have more in the works also.

this will be for my Role Play mod im working on :)

hey im not that good at the mod yet as the last time i played ga it did not have all this fancy stuff in it.
but i usely like to play with some one online as a team against the lower ai's as im not good enough to play the higher ai's.

so add me to your steam friends list my steam id is sid0035 i have a rebel symbol as my picture from star wars.

make sure once i except your invite that you let me know your a star ruler player.

so i dont delete you.

we can exchange strategies on how to play ect.
im very active i play star ruler every day just about.

yea i love your ship set to it is neat.
i think you did a great job making it, it is by far one of the best ship sets for the game, when i deleted 2 ships sets for ga to work all the way for me i took out the higarian and vager ship sets and left in the solar storm and marrige ship sets.

ok thanks i unlocked a bigger hull type but i still cant build bigger ship is there some level of tech i need or something?

i think it is the spinal mount hull i unlocked i tryed to build a 300 size spinal mount ship but it still would not let me.

and i looked in the stellar pedia at the different hull types and some do look like they have bigger sizes but how do you know when you can build bigger?

hey i finally got the newest version of GA working but now i have a strange bug.

when i open the blueprint screen and make a 500 size ship and use any combat hull the subsystem space is ?/? on the screen.

it will not let me add other systems to the hull.

i will upload the save any way to fix this?

it seems like removing the 2 ship sets did the trick i can play a full game now thanx man worked like a charm :D

i would really like a solution to this bug it makes playing GA not worth the effort. i usely dont play the mod because of this bug.
but all my friends want me to play GA with them and i always get this bug even when playing alone.

i have reproduced it so many times i dont know if it is something on my machine or what but i get a runtime thing and when i click on ok it crashes.

i would love to play this mod again with out the crashes.

i did the verbose thing so the log should hopefully have the info needed to correct the bug i hope.

What was witnessed:

Reproduction Steps:
  • <start a single player or muiltyplayer match.>
  • <play the game for between 1 and 2 hours>
  • <the game crashes as explained above.>

how do i run verbose mode on the steam version.

please give good details on how to get it to work and what dose the log file look like and were is it at in the steam version of the game thanks in advance, im trying to report a bug with the latest version of the GA mod it crashes like clock work about 1-2 hours in to the game evey time with out fail.

hey dose any one else get this runtime error with GA?

is there any fix for this it always crashes right as im doing good lol.
