Refuel Auto-Pilot Version 0.01
Mod Changes:
+ effects.txt
 -New: Refuel Auto-Pilot effect

+ BasicEffects.as   
 -New: Refuel Auto-Pilot script

+ ship_systems.txt
 -New: Refuel Auto-Pilot subsystem

+ Layouts
 -New: Hauler design for the AI

 -change: custom_effects.txt now loads seperatly from base file

 -change: custom_BasicEffects.as now loads seperatly from base file

+ ship_systems.txt
 -change: custom_ship_systems.txt now loads seperatly from base file

The Refuel Auto-Pilot subsystem is a small, cheap subsystem that will automaticaly force a ship to move to the nearest insystem colony to refuel when less than 50% fuel remains.
The ship will swiftly dismiss new orders while doing so.

Future Plans:
-Add a "look for Tankers" part to the script function.
-Add a "look in closest system" part to the script function. (for deep space travel)

Its been great in testing so far, but let me know how it works for you.
Suggestions and ideas are welcome.
Of course bug reports are expected as well. ;)

Just unzip the .rar into your games Mod folder. ;)

UPDATE EDIT:
Changed the files so the subsystem and scripts do not mess with base files.
This should allow for compatability with future Dev updates, with little or even no changes from me.

Would it be possible to do the opposite and have a subsystem that forces tankers to refuel other ships?

Or haulers to take resources from other ships?

For both questions, yes I think so.

It would be easier for the Tankers if the subsystem was still on other ships tho.
The subsystem would just look for tankers instead of planets, and then give orders to the tanker instead of the ship with the subsystem.
It would be easier this way becuase it would only have to check ships with a Tanker Goal ID, where as Tankers would have to check every ship in the system(potentialy thousands).
It could be called "Emergancy Refuel Communications System" and be described as a comms system reserved specificly for Refuel Calls. ;)

Also a bit of news:
Ive figured out how to get tankers and refuel stations into the auto pilots checks. ;)
However, Im gunna wait till after the next update before posting, becuase Im not sure what effects the changes Thy Reaper mentioned will have on this mod.

I did not include tankers and refuel stations into the auto pilots checks for this update.
Primarily becuase it requires changing the layout_win.as to force the ship designer to save Goal IDs for human designed ships.
There is no tanker goal and that would mean changing it so as to not be easily compatible with future SR updates.
